Allen is dedicated to integrating intellectual property into broader business goals, ensuring clients’ innovations and brands are protected in key markets across the U.S. and internationally.
Before joining the firm, Allen worked for large intellectual property firms in the Twin Cities. He has obtained patents for companies including Apple, Meta, Cisco, InterDigital, Qualcomm, Microsoft, Medtronic, Seagate, and 3M.
A summa cum laude graduate with a degree in electrical engineering of the University of Michigan College of Engineering, Allen earned his law degree from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School. He is licensed in Minnesota and Michigan and is registered to practice as a patent attorney before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
